This notice addresses the names, logos and other brand identifiers used on ManifestCity2201.com. Its purpose is to support accurate references to the project and avoid confusion about official publications, products and relationships.
1. Names and brand identifiers
The MANIFEST CITY 2201 name and title lockup identify the fiction series created by Jason Caston. DigixData identifies the production brand. Related titles on the site identify the Echoes novels, the released films and trailer, and the game Manifest City: Faultline, which is in development.
DigixData and the respective rights holders reserve applicable rights in their names, logos and brand identifiers under trademark and unfair-competition law, including rights established through use. This notice does not claim federal trademark registration. A trademark reference or the ™ symbol should not be read as a statement that a mark is registered.
2. Accurate references are welcome
You may make truthful references to the series, books, films, creator and production in reviews, reporting, commentary, scholarship and other uses permitted by law. Identify the actual work and use its correct name. When relevant, make clear that your page, publication or project is independent.
A reference should not suggest that you own the project or that the creator or DigixData has sponsored, approved, licensed or partnered with you unless that relationship actually exists. This notice does not prohibit lawful criticism, parody or other protected expression.
3. Brand uses requiring permission
Where permission is required by law, obtain written approval before using our logos or brand assets in advertising, commercial merchandise, co-branded projects or promotional materials. Do not use a confusingly similar name, logo, domain or account to pass off an unofficial product or service as an official Manifest City or DigixData offering.
Permission to refer to a title is not a general license to reproduce artwork, film frames, character depictions or other protected creative material. Our Copyright Policy addresses those materials separately. A copyright or software license also does not automatically grant trademark rights.
4. Requesting permission or reporting confusion
Email DigixData to request a brand use or report suspected impersonation or confusing branding. Identify the name or logo, the relevant URL or material, your intended use and where it will appear. Any permission is limited to the specific use confirmed in writing by the relevant rights holder.
5. Third-party marks
Third-party names and marks, including those of retailers, video and social platforms, hosting providers, publishers and software projects, belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies the relevant service or work and does not imply an endorsement of Manifest City or DigixData, or grant permission to use their marks.
6. Scope and updates
This notice applies to brand references in connection with this website and the project. Applicable law determines the scope of any trademark right and any permitted use. Our Terms of Use address website use. We will update the date above when this notice changes.
