These Terms of Use govern access to ManifestCity2201.com, operated by DigixData, and the content we make available here. By using the website, you agree to these Terms to the extent an agreement can lawfully be formed. If you do not agree, please stop using the website. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
1. Scope and the Manifest City world
MANIFEST CITY 2201 is a fictional world created by Jason Caston. This website presents the Echoes novels, short films and trailer, character and place information, artwork, transmissions, and information about the game Manifest City: Faultline. A DigixData production.
These Terms govern this website. A separate written license, a retailer's purchase terms or a product's own terms may govern a book, film, game or other work. Information about a project in development does not promise a release date, platform availability or particular final features.
2. Viewing and sharing
You may browse the website, view the content through the players and features we provide, share links to official pages and public films, and print or save a reasonable number of website pages for personal, non-commercial reference. Keep relevant authorship and rights notices.
Our Copyright Policy describes limited quotation permissions and how to request other uses. Our Trademark Notice addresses names, logos and branding. These Terms do not restrict fair use, other rights provided by applicable law, or permissions granted by a valid separate license.
3. Intellectual property
Protected content and brand assets belong to DigixData, Jason Caston or their respective licensors and credited rights holders. Rights are reserved to the extent the material is protected by law. Access to a page, image, film or book excerpt does not transfer ownership or grant a general reuse license.
Except where expressly permitted by these policies, another valid license or applicable law, prior written permission is required to reproduce or reupload films or artwork, republish book text, distribute substantial portions of the content, create commercial adaptations or merchandise, remove rights notices, or harvest content for model training or other bulk reuse.
Third-party materials and software remain subject to their applicable licenses. Website restrictions do not override rights granted by those licenses.
4. Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and respect other people's rights. Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass security measures, introduce malicious code, overload or disrupt the site, impersonate DigixData or the creator, or falsely claim an official relationship with the project. Automated access must respect applicable law and any published access rules and must not impair the service.
5. External services and purchases
YouTube playback is optional and loads after Play. Its use is also subject to YouTube's own terms. Amazon handles purchases made through our book links; the retailer controls its transaction, delivery, cancellation and return processes. This website does not run a checkout or collect payment-card details.
Other linked services, including social platforms, operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control their availability, content or decisions. Linking to a service does not grant permission to reuse its materials.
6. Privacy and messages
Our Privacy Policy explains hosting information, session storage, optional embedded video and messages you send us. This website does not provide visitor accounts, public comments or uploads.
If you contact us, provide accurate information that you have a right to share. Do not send confidential material, unpublished manuscripts or sensitive personal information unless we have separately agreed to receive it. Sending a message does not create a confidential relationship, a production agreement or a transfer of intellectual-property rights.
7. Availability and disclaimers
The website and content are provided as available. We may update, correct, suspend or remove pages or features. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure access, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
The world, characters and events are fiction. Concept art, development descriptions and a stylized map are creative presentations and may differ from finished works. No professional advice or real-world service is offered through the fictional material.
8. Responsibility and limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DigixData and the relevant creators and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from use of, or inability to use, this free website. Nothing here excludes or limits liability, remedies or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. A separate agreement may provide different terms for a licensed work or product.
9. Governing law and changes
Consistent with DigixData's website terms, Texas law governs these Terms, subject to applicable federal law and any mandatory protections of your local law. Where a valid choice of venue is permitted, disputes concerning these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts in Collin County, Texas. This does not remove rights to a different forum that applicable law makes mandatory.
We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version and date. Changes apply going forward, subject to any notice or consent requirements of applicable law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
