The band of the city along the lake where Grace's Story Den lies and where the city's guidance thins. A South Shore corridor has a ribbon floor that steers people, a seam down to the Den, breakwalls and a seawall on the water side. Part 2 adds the seawall where R.S. scans the skyline, a salon, a boundary clinic and the Den's copper-walled room beneath the surface. The wider district carries the city's teal light-ribbons; the Den is the warm exception.
