The landmark tower of the Central Loop. Part 1 describes its exterior as a lattice that catches the evening haze above a curved plaza; near the top is a circular carbon-glass observation deck where R.S. watches the city and, in Part 2, a lower atrium and central elevator to the Optimization Directorate. In the films it is the diamond-lattice, violet-cored Spire, the taller central landmark above the Carbon Void towers, and the violet core is where Digital_One's persistent presence is held.
